2007 Word Index

May be duplicate transmission, something weird happened.
How do I create an index in Word 2007? I am very new to Word 2007, so
please start at the beginning and assume I know nothing. Thank you! Kathryn
 
Use the buttons in the Index group of the References tab. There is a Mark
Entry button which displays the Mark Index Entry dialog box of previous
versions, and an Insert Index button to create the actual index field. There
is also a button to update the index (but F9 still works, as in previous
versions).
