2007 not saving changes?!

At first I thought maybe it was my imagination, but now I am able to
replicate this fault a multitude of times.

I can work on a form, change a cbo's RowSource (SQL) and say yes to save
change when closing the QBE. Close the form (which doesn't propmt to save
changes?) and when I reopen the form my changes are gone!?

I work in the VBE modifying a function I am working on, force the save (icon
or file->save) close the form and reopen and my changes are gone?!

What is going on? This NEVER happened in 2003!

I love working with Access, but doing the work once is more than enough for
me. Is this a known issue? Is there a fix?

I already did a compact and repair, no change in behavior.

Suggestions:

1. Make sure you have applied Service Pack 2 for Office 2007. There was a
bug like this that was fixed in SP1 or SP2. You can download SP2 from:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...18-79ea-46c6-8a81-9db49b4ab6e5&displaylang=en

2. After you change the RowSource property, do both of these:
a) Move to a different property in the Properties box, and
b) Explicitly save changes before closing the form.

3. If you are still stuck at this point, follow the steps in this recovery
sequence in order:
