2007 loses ribbon when resized

I work with several documents open at one time, so I frequently resize my
Excel document to display horizontally so only a few rows show at a time.
When I do this, the access to the stupid ribbon bar disappears. The Ctrl +
F1 shortcut to hide/show the ribbon doesn't work in this situation. The only
way I know to get access to it is to Maximize my Excel window each time I
need to change something. (Many options are not available with a
right-click.) Any suggestions?

If you're making the ribbon disappear by dragging the bottom of the Excel
application window up toward the top you can set it to never disappear by
adding this dword registry entry and leaving its value at 0.
