2003 query response time

1. I just converted to access 2003
2. I'm finding that simple queries take a very long time to run
3. However, the same query runs much faster when i hit the last record
button at the bottom of the display
4. Most of my queries are in Macros, so i cannot do this to speed them up
5. Any suggestions will be appreiated...

There are a lot of issues that can be involved here, such as Name
AutoCorrect, SubdatasheetName, the length of your path name, and so on.
