In our school we use Office 2002 for students and teachers.. Now they want
us to use Office 2003 for students and teachers.
It is my job to put it into the computer. Do I delete office 2002 for
students and teachers first or just load 2003 over it

If you really want to be anal about it, uninstall 2002 first. I would just
install 2003 and the installer will prompt you whether you want to keep 2002
or not. That is by far the fastest way.

I have a similar question i hope you can help with. I have been using Offie
2000 (and therefore Outlook 2000) for some time now. I've got a full version
of Office 2003 i'd like to start using. I am sure the Word, Excel, etc.
files created in 2000 will be fine, but will my Outlook 2000 files (email,
contacts, ect.) be preserved through the installation of 2003?

Thanks!

Yes. You might want to start using the Outlook 2003 format for file
storage - unicode - especially if you tend to have large .pst files.

Note- no Office files are ever deleted or changed during an uninstall or
upgrade.

Other than looks and a few features, Office 2003 is not much
differrent than O2000.

Even over Office97 - Office 2000 is not a WOW upgrade...

Afterall... What more can really be added to "word processing"?

Why bother? Too much upgrading is costly in terms of money and of
course labor... and especially the FUN of restoring Outlook files.

When compared to other programs, Outlook is painful.
