Hi There;

I have been searching this site (which is a great resource!) and coul
not find anything that relates to what I am after, if this question ha
already been posted, apologies in advance.

I am a total newcomer to Outlook, or should I say, wanting to customis
Outlook. I am using Outlook 2003, and want to add the same comment to
certain "catergory", for example, I have a category "PNews" (Physica
NEWSletter, I want to insert text to these contacts saying that I sen
them a newsletter in Aug-09. Then in three months time, when I re-sen
out my physical newsletter, repeat the process - so I am building m
contact history.

I understand (or would expect) that this would be achievable by vba
however, have not got a clue on how to do this.

Is anyone able to assist me?

Many thanx in advance for reading this, and I hope that I hav
explained everything sufficiently.

As this would require more than just a few lines of code, are you willing to
learn and write the code yourself, or are you looking here for anyone to
write it for you?

Hi; Yes I wish to learn. I guess b/c I don't know exactly where to
start, I'm fishing hard for any suggestions. If you have any
feedback/suggestions on where I can start, or a book that would assist,
I would be interested in hearing. I have been searching (on the net)
for a book that will help me start; and have come across Sue Mosher's
book "Microsoft Outlook Programming", which looks quite good. If
anyone has purchased this book, I would be also keen to hear what you
think of it. Many thanx for your feedback, it is appreciated. :)
