2000 to 5.0 conversion; especially with hyperlinks

Hello -
I am trying to integrate several Excel 2000 files
(financial calculations)into a job aid. In a 97-2000
save,everything is fine. But a 97-2000,5.0 save loses the
links when opened with 95. Many of our sales center still
run Excel 95! Help with this particular problem or 5.0
conversion tips would be greatly appreciated.

I am not very experienced with Excel,macros,or VB...

If I remember correctly, hyperlinks came with Excel97. Excel 5 definitely didn't have them, 95 (=version 7), no I don't think so. So
for cross-version apps you can't use features that the oldest version doesn't support. Which also goes for userforms, event macros
and lots of other neat things. Sorry. ( "It's expensive to be poor" -old norwegian saying
