2000 Server

I have a windows 2000 server sp4, I had updated Mdac to
the latest release. Asked to reboot and now windows 2000
just hangs. I had upgraded to the latest Bios for the
Dell poweredge 2400 and still the O/S Hangs. HELP!!!
 
Does it boot into safe mode? How far does it get into the boot process
before it hangs?
