2 version windows

i just installed winxp pro on another HD and unpluged it. windows starts to
ask me which OS do I want, still, the HD contains the other version is
unpluged. How do I get rif of the startup message?

If you are planning to leave the second hard drive disconnected when you use
the first one, then go to Start>Run>msconfig [enter] and click on the
boot.ini tab. You'll see there is an entry to "check all boot paths". Or
you can hand-edit boot.ini yourself (don't forget to display all hidden
files from Folder Options>View).

Or if you really want to have both versions of XP installed and both hard
drives connected, get a third-party boot manager.
