2 Significant Features Should Be Changed

There are a number of useful features I'm still exploring--"Advanced" but
two fundamental problems. It has a nice interface and the frank way it
categories and characterizes a purported pre-emptive spyware program
detected that really delivers malware and does anti-spyware activity in an
insignificant way is admirable. The interface seems pretty clear.

1) You should not have to close IE to complete the spyware
deletion/quarantine. Adaware doesn't
require this and I'm not sure why MSFT's adaptation of Giant should.

and this is a CPU gobbler and it neesd to gobble less while "Real Time
Protection" is "running in the background."

2) You should be able to run a spyware program ideally "in the background."
Most software that claims you can run in the background falls way short.
This is on a box with 1GB RAM which should be sufficient.

GiantAntispywaremaine.exe 10,092 K runs in the background with "Real Time
Protection"

If you run a scan: GiantAntispywaremain.exe balloons up to 22,516K
GcasDtServ.exe takes 6,156K

I think it should be able to run using less.

I believe you are splitting hairs here Chad. If you MS
decide to close IE before update you can be sure they
have a reason for it. Do you know IE like MS does? I am
sure they do that to release any locked resources that
will prevent a good update.

I also think it is too early to criticize on CPU usage or
Capacity. That is why a BETA notice is placed on display.
MS is still working to fine tune the application. The
most important thing here is we are getting a product
that most us pay for free from the maker of Windows
itself. They know the system insde out, they can guard
the system better than any other person out there; which
guarantees success that competing software out there.

I believe we should give MS a chance to make a beaut of
this baby.
