2 options missing in internet options window

I'm missing 2 tabs in my internet options box. "Programs"
and General" no longer appear, and they were there
yesterday. What should I do?

scan your system with latest virus definitioned
antivirus/spybot
then:-
start>run>type sfc\ scannow>ok

Click Start, Run and enter REGEDIT Go to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control
Panel

Look in the right pane for two values called GeneralTab and ProgramsTab. If
they exist, they should be set to 0 (zero). If not, double click each entry
and set it to 0. If they don't exist, right click in the right pane and
select New, DWord value, and name each value as above. Leave them set at 0.
