#2) HOW TO DOWNLOAD AVERY LABEL TEMPLATE IN WORD 2003?

AVERY SUPPLIES LABEL TEMPLATES FOR A VARIETY OF LABELS THEY MAKE AND WORD
2003 SUPPORTS. SOME LABELS ARE NEW AND ARE NOT PART OF THE ORIGINAL INSTALL.
ONCE I HAVE THE TEMPLATE FROM AVERY, (WHICH I DO), HOW DO I AND WHAT
DIRECTORY DO I INSTALL IT INTO?

1. Please don't post in all caps. That's considered yelling, which is a bad
thing to do when you need help.

2. You can put those templates anywhere you want. There's not "right" or
"wrong" place. Well, I guess putting it in a place that you can't remember
could be called "wrong".

Look under Tools>Options>File Locations for the location of your templates
folder

It is probably

C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates.

As that is normally a hidder location, in Windows explorer, you may need to
select Folder Options from the Tools menu and then go to the View tab and
check the radio box for Display hidden folders.

And by the way, please do not use all capitals. It considered to be
shouting in this environment and there is no need for it.

Hope this helps.

Sorry for yelling as I do not use this forum often. I have resolved the
issue as Avery is unable to install the templates into Microsoft directly.
They simply gave me a Word Document that I use as a Master File and modify
for each exercise. Pretty lame but I can use the workaround!

Thanks for the tip!

Sorry, a cheap workaround has been implemented and I hope I did not hurt your
ears!

Thanks for the 'heads up"!

Sorry Doug, thanks for the heads up and you had the path correct. The
'application data' folder was hidden and now has been re-hidden after access.
Avery on the other hand does not know how to install the label into the Word
directory of where these Product Label templates reside. Their answer was
simply providing a Word Document and changing it as opposed to uploading the
proper file and having the new label template populate along with the dozens
of Avery templates within 2003!

Thanks again for your time and your paid consulting services will not be
needed on this occasion.

Ciao!

No, my ears are okay. Thank you :)

(By the way, the all-caps thing goes for all newsgroups.)
