2 questions:
1) I originally partitioned and formatted my new 120 gig Hard drive with the FAT 32 file system. I then did a fresh install of Win XP Home Edition using the downloadable boot disk program from Microsoft. When the setup asked me to keep the file system the same (FAT32) on my one and only C: partition or format it to the NTFS system I choose to format it (not quick format) to the NTFS system. My question is: Would it be better to have done a new partion with the NTFS system instead of the FAT 32 then formated it with NTFS?
2) My other question is that I have another drive in the same PC with data and files already on it but its FAT32. Will My Newly installed WIN XP Home Edition on the NTFS formated C: drive have problems reading the files on my FAT32 D: drive?
