Greetings --
The "180 Search Assistant" is a component of n-Case.
n-Case is a form of spyware. Two products that are normally
quite effective at finding and removing such scumware are Ad-Aware
from
www.lavasoft.de and SpyBot Search and Destroy from
www.safer-networking.org/. Both have free versions.
Symantec provides removal instructions:

Additional manual removal instructions for the most common
varieties of scumware are available here:

A message keeps coming up saying that a third party may have
interrupted 180 search assistant, and asks me if I want to re-install,
delete or remind me later. Since I don't know what it is I always
respond : remind me later. Does anyone know if this is a microsoft
program that is needed or if it is some sort of spyware?
