16 hours to download

hi, i have just installed new software from an internet site,eTomi Pro
Mp3WebMusic,to be able to download music and movies,i have downloaded music
ok,within about 4-5 min,but i am downloading a movie so far it has been
downloading for 16hours and still going,please help as i have paid £30 for
this site,
does anyone know what i am doing wrong.i am broadband with wanadoo.
i am new to all this so when you reply,easy steps please.

Oh dear sharon - you have been scammed. eTomi is just another one of those
websites offering free downloads, 100% legal etc. All they do is repackage a
free P2P proggy (in your case Shareaza) with some other already free
software and take your money. Downloading the music/movies with their
software is NOT legal (just because you paid for the membership). Do a
google search of eTomi to read what others say. As for it being so slow
maybe the proggy is slugged down by spyware or you are uploading from
someone on dialup. I know it sux because you paid for this garbage but it's
probably best to get rid of that proggy and run a spyware check (Spybot,
Adaware, Microsoft Antispyware). It's your PC and your $$$ down the drain so
the unistallation is up to you in the end.

has my machine been bugged up now,or once i uninstall all of its programs
will be allright?i don`t care about the money,more angry that i have been
sucked into another scam,i don`t want it to ruin my computer though,i thought
it was too good to be true!!!i only wanted it for music mainly,are there any
recommended sites,or shall i just carry on with the msnmusic download and
wanadoo music download.
about uninstalling the program do i do it the normal way e.g going to my add
and remove programmes.

thankyou Mike,i am really fuming now,getting sucked in,please could you tell
me,if i uninstall the programs will it be gone, if i do add and remove
programs or can i restore my computer back to the time before i had this
nasty program

Hi Sharon - yes you should be able to uninstall via add/remove programs with
no probs. If you are worried about bugs run your anti-virus prog and any
anti-spyware progs you have. Mike gave you some good links to read and here
