16 bit Windows application

I have an old 16 bit Windows app, no source code :-(,
that when run, seems to just hang. Task manager shows
that ntvdm has started and is running wowexec and the
app. The app itself absorbs >96% of my processor but no
window appears or anything results.

When I try the same app. under Win 98 OSR2, the same
thing happens.

The app used to run under an older Win 98 machine, but I
don,t have any config data for that machine.

Any help would be appreaciated.

Have you tried running it under windows compatibility mode?
