Okay I just noticed that after I installed the service pack 3 it put the
i386 folder in my windows directory. I have a i386 folder on my other drive
with more space and use that for running the SFC. Can I delete the one from
C drive or move it over to the other drive and replace the one there?

The i386 folder needs to remain in the proper Windows directory.

That's true...
but just as important: I would not use SP3 until it's officially released

Why not? The OP did not say she was. She may be trying it out on an extra
computer. That is her choice. The notices are on the download page and she
is responsible for reading them and acting accordingly.

I didn't know it was still beta. I just assumed when it came up on updates
it was the final version.

Go to Microsoft Updates | Change Settings | Advanced. Is "Show beta
products.........." checked?

The "RC" on the Downloads Details page means "Release Candidate" and the
text describes it as pre-release software. If you wish to uninstall you may
do so in Control Panel/Add Remove Programs. Be sure the box to show updates
is checked.

SP3 is not in the final release yet.

It's *obvious* she is not trying it out as a Beta tester
