123mania.com - the scourge of my life

i keep getting this stupid search page on 123mania.com coming up when i try to go onto a website, saying the website cannot be found. however it is doing this for websites i KNOW exist and i have been to before. i have checked with the owners of the website and the webpage is fine, also other people can go on them. i have updated my IE and tried reinstalling it to no avail. i've used programs like ad-aware and a registry cleaner and they also could not find it. can anybody help me to get rid of this thing?
