100% CPU usage with Outlook XP (2002) after ~30 seconds use

Hi,
I suddenly have a very annoying problem with Outlook 2002.
It started with a corrupt pst file where sent mail could not be deleted and
new outgoing mail was stuck in outbox.
Repair did not help, so I imported inbox, calendar and addresses to a new
pst file. The above mentioned errors were gone, but a new error surfaced...
It now started hogging cpu power after 30-60 seconds of use, every 20-30
seconds or so Outlooks cpu usage now reaches 100%.
Tried repairing pst (again) and reinstalling Outlook but to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated.

Is there any mail waiting to be downloaded? I've had this problem on a
couple of OL97 machine's where an inbound message was corrupt, delete that
through ISP webmail or something and that fixed?

Do you have an antivirus program scanning incoming and/or outgoing mail?

Yes, but I have already tried disabling and even uninstalling the antivirus,
did not help..

Had not thought about that, but there is no mail in the webmail inbox, so
unfortunately that is not the cause...

Problem solved....
It only took me approx. 12 hours to find out that it was a bluetooth device
that apparently had gone mad, and suddenly, without any reason, decided to
influence outlooks cpu usage, and only outlook...
Well thanks for your input anyway.

Hello from Virginia:
I too had the same problem with OL 2003. In addition to the situation you
discuss, when my system locked I shut down and system indicated that
Thorconnwndclass was shutting down. I also had an outgoing email that would
not go away. I deleted(thru control panel) OL and reinstalled. FIfnally I
just kept deleting the e-mail I was sending (it had a large Excel
attachement). Hard drive still seems to be moving endlessly, but at least
the useage is not 99% like it was.

Anyone have any idea why the drive seems to be spinning endlessly. I am
running XP Pro and use symantec anti-virus.
