All

In my Outlook 2002 running with Exchange 2000 it is always saying that I
have 1 Unread item in my calendar. I have changed the view to filter only
unread items, I have selected all entries and marked as read and then unread
and it always says 1 unread item but will not show me the item

Please help

Check to make sure the settings are what you need. It may be setup to show
all items and not just unread. Right click on the Inbox folder - select
Properties and it is under the General tab.

Can you set up a view grouping by "Read" ? Alternatively, could you
set up another "group-by" view, collapse it, highlight everything, mark
them all as "Read".

Finally, I once had a similar problem with a mismatch on mail items
read. I was told I had some kind of corrupted file or profile. In any
event, I would look for answers for such a problem with mail items and
attempt to apply the same solution to your calendar items after
attempting the above.

Try using Advanced Find and set your search criteria to Unread items.

HOW ANNOYING"!!!
I've just had exactly the same problem with a user's canlendar, we searched
for all unread items - nothing.
We searched for ALL items and actually deleetd all of them - as it was so
frustrating and it's still showing 1 unread item.
Did you finally get a resolution Ben?

Did you use Advanced Find and search for All Items, not just calender items?

Hi Milly, yep, we did an advanced search for all items. We even marked any
unread e-mails as read just to double-check but ti's still showing up.
Think we might ahve to recreate the profile...
