1-to-many relationship, i want only the last subtable entry

I have a one-to-many relationship and want to display the master record and
only the LAST sub-table record.
 
Dear HJ:

Using the data you have in the table, define "LAST". On the basis of this
definition I may be able to help. If the definition is unique, then I can
get you one row. Otherwise, there may be more than one, at least in some
instances.
