1 record / page working, except for second record

I have report that is basically a form to be filled out by users with some
fields pre-filled from an access query. It's supposed to be one form per
record, which it generally is. However, half of the form for the second
record appears on the first page of the report, and the rest on the second
page. The rest of the report is fine. I don't do much work with reports, so
i'm not really sure where to start. The report has no headers or footers, and
just a tiny bit of VBA code to provide a message to user in the event of no
data.

Sections have a "Force New Page" property that you should be able to set to
meet your requirements. If that doesn't work, you can add a Page Break
control to your report from the Tool Box.

Hi Duane, I'm a desperate Newbie and not sure whether to reply or start a
new post, but I can't seem to get records to display one per page (Access
2007). You do mention "if that doesn't work" - any ideas why it is not
working for me.

I will try your tip of inserting a page break from the tool box

Is as you mentioned in your reply to Joe. I am trying to use the "Force new
page" property and it doesn't seem to work?

This is the first time working in Access 2007. When I load a simalar page
from a 2003 Access database, the one page at a time works?????

Also with the 2003 version, the navigation button is there, cannot get it to
show in my 2007 attempts.

Also have just tried a "New Page" break, and it doesn't seem to be working
either???

Are suggesting you set the "Force New Page" property of the detail section of
your report to "Yes" and you ended up with more than one record on a page? If
so, what is your page size?

Also, did you try place a PageBreak control at the bottom of the detail
section and this also didn't create new pages for each detail record?

What view are you displaying?

Yes "Force new Page" property of Detail section set and more than one record
shows on a page. Page size is A4.

Also, can't seem to get navigation box (arrows) to show in order to move
through records and see each one change to new details?

Thank you for helping me stop "going round the bend"
Add to last - Did try to place Pagebreak comtrol at bottom of detail section
- that didn't wrk either? %&$*&(#

I have never heard of a report section that didn't obey the New Page and page
breaks unless the report is actually a subreport. If yours was a subreport, I
expect you would have mentioned this in your first post. If none of this
works, create a new report.
