1.Modem 2.signing in !

2. whats this !
I signed in maybe half an hour ago ,maybe longer , I see the Sign
In button reading Sign In , now I want to post a message and press the
Reply button and I am signed in automatically ?? Is that to be expected ?
Did I really see the Sign In button.............I think so
1. ...I'm logical......, and recently it seems my modem software
disappeared , the status light on my modem would only blink meaning it was
checking the status .
I am using a failing harddrive , it clicks .
Could there be a reason that the failing harddrive ?

No accounting for Passport, it's a server side problem of some kind.

start/run, type DEVMGMT.MSC to see if the Modem device has a conflict.
