1.E. 6, unable to browse some users affected win xp

I am running WIN XP home and have recently encountered a
problem whereby all family users except me are unable to
browse any web pages. IE returns "page not found"
message. These same users can still download email using
outlook, so the connection appears to be OK. If I make
any changes to IE using internet options will it
automatically effect all users, or are there any "user
specific" options that have been applied in error?
