I have a network with 3 different subnets
We would like to setup a domain controller that is accessible from all 3
subnets.

How do I allow for clients to access a domain that isn't in their subnet.

P.S. I was told wins will accomplish this but that doesn't seem to be the
case...

WINS will help for downlevel clients and will be needed for them to find the
DC across subnets or lmhosts files. Win2k/XP will use your internal Active
Directory DNS server to find the domain controller. Once you setup Active
Directory all your internal clients need to point to your internal DNS
server and not your ISP's. The internal DNS server will then use forwarders
to your ISP's DNS server for Internet lookups. This is how the newer clients
find DC's by looking for the appropriate records in DNS.
