1/1/4501

Hello,

Can you tell me why a date field in a table would populate
with 1/1/4501. This has come up a lot of times in the
table I have.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Not without knowing what you are doing to populate it. Also, in
Tools|Options|General tab, do you have "Use 4 digit years" selected? If not,
it may be very difficult to track this down.

I haven't seen this before but the first place I would check is the Default
Value for the Field in the Table Design.

If I recall correctly (and

it) 1/1/4501 is the date representation of None, at least it does in Outlook
when using VB.
