0x81000303 error

This error pops up when i attempt to sign in to messenger.
I can not log on to MSN eplorer either from my pc, any
sugestions on how to repair this problem.

Thank you for the reply Jonathan,
My I.D. and password will work when I sign on to Messenger
from another computer. I can access MSN through netscape
and veiw my email and groups on my own pc , however I am
still unable to log on to Messenger.

execute 'regsvr32 softpub.dll' and restart your pc
