0x800CCC0F in Outlook but not Outlook Express

I am able to receive send and receive messages in Outlook Express and send
messages in Outlook but not able to receive messages in Outlook. When
waiting to receive messages in Outlook, this error message appears:
Task 'pophm.sympatico.ca - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The
connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact
your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).' Suggestions
for solving this would be appreciated.

This is most likely caused by anti-virus software scanning your incoming
and outgoing messages in Outlook. Turn off that scanning - the anti-virus
software *should* still protect you by preventing a program containing a
virus from running.
