Zoo Tyc. - slow play on some zoos

About a month ago we installed Zoo Tycoon Complete on our
XP. It ran great until recently. It still performs all
it's functions, but at a fraction of the speed. It's
like playing in slow motion, and very frustrating. We
tried cleaning up our computer (fewer things on desktop,
deleted excess files from RAM use, defragging) but it
hasn't helped. The odd thing is that my zoo and my
daughter's zoos now run slowly, but whenever my husband
loads his zoo to play it runs fine. What's going on
here? Unfair! ;)

Hi C. Lattimer,

Sounds like one of the attractions is consuming more
resources than it should. To try and identify it, list all
the attractions you and your daughter have in common
but which your husband doesn't. Backup your saved
games, and then try removing those attractions you've
identified individually until you find the culprit.

Of course, other solutions can be used here, such as
increasing the priority level of the game, or decreasing
the video and sound settings, and game's resolution.
