ZoneAlarm Blocks Adobe Acrobat

ZoneAlarm is blocking any Internet site with links to Adobe Acrobat
documents. When I try to open an Adobe document from the Internet,
the Explorer just disappears.

How do I fix this? It is most frustrating.

Also, the latest ZoneAlarm Secuity Suite is incredibly slow to
operate.

Well, you should get rid of ZA and find something that's going to work for
you.

Does anybody else have this problem with ZA, sounds sort of strange.

Not me. ZA does not block download of documents. It can only control access
to remote computers by programs.

Since the subject files get downloaded by IE, I would believe that there is
a problem with access permissions by that program.

How can that be when the OP is able to download other files?

What the OP should do if using XP is enable the XP FW, disable ZA and its
Security Suite mess and see if the problem goes away. If it the problem does
go away, then the OP knows it's a ZA problem.

And if, as it appears, he is the only one having it, perhaps it's an op
problem.
