I'm using ZoneAlarm Pro and it's great. In conjunction with that I use
Spybot Search and Destroy (a freebee). The new Norton is supposed to also
eliminate spyware but I've heard from many that it's not too effective.

Hi,

Try Ad-aware, it is a free program that finds spyware,
registry keys, etc and then gives you the option of
choosing which ones to uninstall.
I just ran it and deleted 55keys! One had the nearve to
boldly call it self highjacker. good luck

I used to use Zonealarm but found it caused some problems. I now use
Outpost from Agnitum. They do a free one as well as a pay one. Take a
look

Yes,Spybot is good and it is free; there is a new version
available, just "google" it. "Spyblaster" is another one
that claims to stop this stuff before it installs; also
freeware. These are both dependant upon specific
definitions, so they need to bo updated frequently.

SpywareBlaster

SpywareBlaster doesn't scan and clean for spyware - it prevents it
from ever being installed.

Since installing this, I've been hard pressed to find any Spyware
using AdAware. Spyware Blaster, AdAware and Zone Alarm Pro has made
my system very bug free.
