Zone Alarm with high intrusion count.

Hi,

I loaded the ZA free firewall 3 days ago. Using Earthlink ADSL, my PC
with Win2000 has been connected for about 48 hours.
I just checked the status display and ZA has blocked over 21,000
intrusions. 90 were hight rated intrusions.
It also stated it blocked over 9500 incoming access attempts.

Can these high counts be right for a 48 hours period or is ZA giving a
false count?

Sounds nice for me. The viruses/worms activity is very
high these days. Also, high speed connections were always
the place of interest for hackers.

But also don't think that these attacks were directed
specifically to you. In 99.9% these are just ip range
scans for known vulnerabilities.
