zipped files on win2k

i just switched from winme to win2k and i need help now.
every file i download thats zipped... doesnt work. i cant
open it. what can i do to fix that?

Windows 2000 doesn't have built-in support for ZIP files, you will need a
program like WinZip or WinRAR on Windows 2000 to be able to view and extract
the contents

For that u need a software called winzip to unzip those
files which can be downloaded from net.
