zip sorting.

I need to sort by zip code when I print a newsletter.
However we have snowbirds whose address changes when they
go north. We use the mailing address indicator to switch
from home address to other address. We then use the
mailing address for our mail merge. Can the zip code be
extracted from the mailing address? I am at a loss at
how to sort this so that it is ready for the post office.

This is a programming forum, so if you need help for non-coding issues try
the appropriate groups under the microsoft.public.outlook hierarchy.

Otherwise, if you want to display address information in a view, you can
show the Field Chooser dialog and drag the Business Address Zip, Home Address
Zip or Other Address Zip fields to the view containing your Contacts. You
can also use the Postal Code/Zip field to show the value for the selected
mailing address.

If you need in depth assistance with mail merges in Word, try one of the
microsoft.public.word groups.
