ZIP drive not recognized

Previous post above subject "Removing win98 from dual boot". This PC left
with a working 100mb ZIP drive. XP Home does not see it in Explorer view.
How do I get it back to working? I think I still have the Iomega install
disk that worked with win98. I thought XP would see it as new hardware when
I booted up. Thanks, Steve T.

go to control panel, device manager, see if theres any items with a
yellow exclamaion next to it, if there is delete it then on the menu
click scan for hardware changes.

Found mass storage controller and device with yellow question marks.
Uninstalled then scanned for hardware changes. No luck either way. ZIP does
not show up anywhere on Device Manager. I also had two Iomega ZIP install
disks, one was for win 95 and the other was for win NT. Neither helped when
I inserted the disk(s) and tried to update driver through Device Manager. I
guess I could hook up to internet and see if Windows Update can find a
driver for it? Open to other ideas. Thank you, Steve T.

The ZIP drive is recognized by the BIOS when it is booting up, it just does
not show up when I try to view it in Explorer. Steve T.
