Zip Applications

I was just wondering which compression applications people are using at the moment. I remember someone posting a link to a good freeware zip tool which I meant to try, but I can't find it anymore.

I've been using WinRAR for years, but I'm open to giving something else a shot if there is a better, free alternative :).

with both a 32/64bit program, 7-Zip works in Windows 7 / Vista / XP / 2008 / 2003 / 2000 / NT / ME / 98. AND ... Linux/Unix.

7Zip here too, dumped winrar in favour of it.

Have a look at that sticky thread i made in the Gen. software section. :D

I use 7-Zip all the time too and it's awesome. It gets my vote.
