Zebra TLP2844 USB Connection

Good day

I have a problem with a Zebra Barcode Printer TLP2844. When I connect it
using a US Cable, a message would pop up saying USB device not recognized. I
have tried different ways of installing the drivers but still would not
function correctly after receiving this message everytime (immediately when
plugged in).

Used a parallel cable (LPT port) on the same printer & it worked fine.

Used another printer & storage device on USB works fine, not USB port issue.

This is a Compaq Evo laptop with XP PRo SP1.


Please advise.

You should install the drivers before connecting the device.
