Zebra TLP 2844

Hello,

For barcode printer : Zebra TLP 2844.

Is there anyway to find a way to print via drivers in word (By using
fonts) - I don't see a way to declare the size of the label, with not
directly printing. Also, fonts for barcode etc...

Nevertheless, I would like to know the codes for direct printing to barcode
printer : Zebra TLP 2844.

Help, please.

If you are using one of the drivers from Seagull Scientific, you can
add a specific page/label size into the driver for the settings you
want. When you have selected the Zebra as the printer, this page
format will then appear as one of the selectable paper sizes on the
page setup screen (or I guess you could save it as a document
template).

With the Zebra driver selected the Zebra text fonts should now also
appear in the font selection window. Bar codes however will be a
problem as I don't think you can directly address the printers
in-built bar code fonts from there. You could use a bar code ttf file,
but the drawback to this is that the file will be sent to the printer
as a graphic file rather than a label format.

You can download the programming manuals for the TLP 2844 from Zebras
website (www.zebra.com), but you need to know whether you have the
standard 2844 or the 2844-Z model as they use a different programming
language EPL2 or ZPL respectively.

Thanks, I have TLP-2844 (without the "Z" - it's not on the label that is on
the printer, or on papers I've got with the printer).

I didn't find any manual or tech-reference about codes for direct printing,
either on the site www.zebra.com nor on the papers I got when I had the
printer.
I didn't find other simple way to print.
Right now, I should prefer to print directly to the printer (without any
driver), because something I've got.

Help, please.

Thanks :)
