ZAP True Vector issue..help please

H

High Sierra

I am getting this error message when switching back to a logged on user
from another user.

Message from ZoneAlarm Pro
True Vector Internet Monitor has shutdown.
Do you wish to restart?

I always reply yes which works.

I haven't had much luck on ZAP message and forums. Perhaps someone
here had this problem and resolved it.

I am running XP Pro.

I occasionally will get a windows message stating that True Vector
Service had an error, but ZAP doesn't complain in this case.

Any help in resolving this minor annoyance would be appreciated.

reply to NG only.

The best thing to do for ZAP is get rid of it. ZoneAlarm's True Vector
Service just doesn't play well with other drivers and applications. I
advise you to replace ZAP with Norton Personal Firewall.

No Thanks. I'm looking for assistance on a technical issue.

I've heard lots of horror stories about Norton.

Ok, keep letting ZoneLab's True Vector Service kick you in the teeth. Your
choice..
