There is a list of tested motherboards at the Zalman site.
I'm sure a popular motherboard like the P4C800 would have
been tested.

Great little gadgets, aren't they.

I put a couple of those into an Opteron dualie system for
someone. The noise level dropped *very* noticeably from
the stock AMD coolers he previously had.

Weird. For the AMD64 processors there are both compatible
and incompatible lists, but for the P4 there is only an
incompatible list.

None of the P4C800 series are on the incompatible list, but
I'm sure that is little comfort to owners of one of those
motherboards. I'm sure they would much rather see that
boards on a /compatible/ list before buying this fansink.

It might be simply a matter of numbers. This is a cooler
for DIYer's and for shops that build high-end gaming rigs -
and those kind of people mostly go with AMD64 rather than
settling for P4 or Xeon. Zalman might simply still be
waiting for feedback from more Intel users.

I installed a Zalman CNPS7000A on mine and it works just fine. Not
sure what the differences between 7700 and 7000 are though...

Hi all,
The zalman 7700 will fit the P4c800-E deluxe Mobo but......
keep in mind u have to have just a little space between the mobo and the
underside of ur power supply unit.If u have a large tower it is no problem
but with small tower it could become one.
So be aware..
