You've got mail sound squeaks

I'm using AOL 8.0 and some of the wav sounds it plays are real squeaky. I
copied all the wav sound files from another computer that works right but it
still does not sound right. I played the sounds with media player 10 off of
a different computer over the network but no go. Went to a different
computer and played the wav files off the squeaky computer, they sound ok. I
don't think there are any problems with the wav files. Any ideas they sound
squeaky?

XP pro, media player 10 (says no updates available), no recent hw change.

The sound card drivers and speaker may not be correctly set up on the
"squeaky" computer. You may want to check for updated drivers for your
sound card.
