You need to allow the user to the text they want to print in HTML

Is anyone annoyed when you print an email and it come out with three page
instead of one. You should be able to select text like in internet explorer.

Not really, because this functionality is built in to hte program:

Select the text you want to print, then go to File > Print. In the Print
dialog box under "Page Range" select the "Selection" radio button then click
OK.
