You may not have permission to use this network resource

I have a network that is running fine for four of the computers on the
network. All are connected wirelessly. When I try to connect my newest
laptop to the network, it seems to be connected. The host computer lists it
in the workgroup. The new laptop has access to the Internet. On the same
laptop, when I go to "My Network Places"-->"Entire Network"-->"Microsoft
Windows Network"-->"Homenet" (the name of my network), instead of listing
the workgroup computers, I get the "You may not have permission to use this
network resource" error message.

When I try add printers by browsing the network, it shows no printers on the
network to add.

All of the other computers on the network are working fine. All are
connected wirelessly and all are running WindowsXP.

Where can I go from here?

Does it maybe say "access denied"?

If you like, simply provide "browstat status", "ipconfig /all", and "net
config" from the problem computer, and from two others, so we can diagnose the
problem. Read this article, and linked articles, and follow instructions
precisely (download browstat!):
