Yet another saving and options problem, please help

When I click save to my computer or Tools>options, I get nothing.

I can edit, import, etc, but when I choose file>save movie file, or
ttools>options, I get nothing. I get a brief hour glass, then nothing. It
doesn't lock up, it just doesn't seem to acknowledge that I click save. No
box to save to a location, no options box, no error, nothing. I I click the
"Save to my computer" option in the movie task pane, I get the same thing.

After reading all of the threads on this issue, I can't find any info. I
tried large and small files...nothing. I reinstalled SP2 and did the
reinstall for mm.

Does anyone have any ideas?? Please help.

check the Setup > MM2.1 page of my site for clues... compare your files to
my list, and register your DLLs manually.

I did all that, more than once. I also just followed the procedure on this
page

Just for the record, I reinstalled mm1 per the instructions on your site and
that works fine
