Yamaha AC-XG sound card inop. after upgrade.

Hi,
I installed the Windows XP Service Pack SP1a on my
Toshiba 2405-S221 laptop and the sound stopped working.
Toshiba says to go get a driver from Yamaha. Yamaha says
go get one from Toshiba. Microsoft says we can't help
you. Can any of you help me?

Yes, I had no problems finding either. Problem is it
doesn't work! It says it "installs drivers that are
incompatible with this version of windows." So, can
anyone tell me where to find one that works?

Strange, it works just fine on my Toshiba - 2805-S402.

Try unisntalling the drivers from the Device Manager, reboot the notebook
and then reinstalling it.
