Yahoo toolbar keeps shutting down

I downloaded yahoo toolbar for IM but each time I get on IE whenever I try to
close a page it closes all open pages, sometimes it won't close so I have to
go to task manager and end program, and sometimes it shuts down IE and
restarts again. So I unistalled yahoo toolbar for now but I would like to be
able to use it. Please help.

Go to Yahoo and check their help groups. Others there may have the same
problem. They could be discussing it right now.

If you had downloaded Yahoo Messenger with a custom install(which you have
the option to do), you leave all that crap out. No Yahoo toolbar, search,
etc. It was crap in XP, and nothing has changed.
All you need is Yahoo Messenger; not all the add-ons
