Does this on work for a Mail Plus account or can this also be done with a
standard yahoo account?

Rick,
Yahoo! Mail Plus is a paid service. That lets you access to their POP Mail
servers. If you have a free Yahoo acct such as (e-mail address removed) or
(e-mail address removed) , you will need a third party program like !YPOPS for these
accts. I have been using it for several years now with multiple yahoo.com
accts, and it works with the following MS Mail Programs.

On a XP Home/XP Pro/XP MCE PC:
OE5/6
Outlook 97/2000/XP/2003

On a Vista PC:
Outlook 2003

You should read the instructions carefully before installing, you will need
to change your acct settings, for each yahoo acct. Also if you want the
messages to remain on the Yahoo server. You need to change the setting for
the Mail acct in OE/Outlook and in !YPOPS to leave the messages on the
server, before you run it the first time, or they will be downloaded. And
you will have a difficult time
getting them back on the server.

Every once in a while Yahoo does change their Mail service, and mail stops
being delivered to OE/Outlook. An upgrade to a newer version of "!YPOPS" is
necessary. But it seem that the developers, are quick to get the upgrade up
for download, in a very short time period.

!YPOPS can be downloaded at:

I would not recommend that you download the beta ver. 0.9.6, but vers.
0.9.5.1.
