Yahoo Server and Frontpage 2003

I have created a subdirectory and user account in Yahoo to be able to
password protect a webpage. My question now is that I'm confused as to how
to be able to link this subdirectory to the live website and also to be able
to access it in my computer when I update the webpage.
Thank you.

Create a link to the page in the protected subdirectory from your home
page
or any other page.

When a user clicks the link the password dialog will display.
If they can't or don't enter the user name and password they will not be
able to open the page.

Well, Steve, I just found out after creating a subdirectory in my Yahoo
server and then in the home computer using Frontpage 2003, Yahoo tells me
they don't support Frontpage 2003, only Frontpage 2002. Now I'm not sure
what to do because I need to have a webpage with a password for one of my
clients.

If Yahoo supports FP2002, then they support FP2003 (though not the parts
related to Sharepoint).
As far as creating and using subwebs or subsites are concerned there is no
difference between FP2000, FP2002 or FP2003.

Thank you. I guess I'm not understanding this whole thing. How can I link
in Yahoo? Is there a place; I haven't seen it. I must be doing something
wrong. I follow all the directions in Yahoo and created a user account and a
subdirectory (I didn't have one in my personal computer for the site I'm
working with). Right now I'm so upset with this issue. This was a voluntary
job that I took to help a school out not knowing that they wanted a password
for a webpage.
Thank you.

You're going to need to have contact with Yahoo.

I don't think Yahoo supports subwebs...at least they didn't used to when I
had webs on there, it was one of the several reasons I left there.
