xyz code you can use for appointments

I use only one data element to "tag" appointments. In the Location
field, I place the 'phone number to call if there is a change. I'm just
a numbers kind of guy. YMMV.

With Auto Preview on, in Outlook 2000, clicking the Location field on
the 31 day calendar view places the text cursor *before* the data.

I apply code, x, y, or z, to the Location field *before* the phone
number, chronologically *after* the appointment.

x means cancelled.

y means Yes, I made it.

z means I slept (zzz) or otherwise missed it. :)

Oops.

The cursor actually goes to the Subject field after you click on a
Location. So for many of you, this method won't be appropriate. I just
don't use Subject fields; everything I do is pretty much wide open. I
use Notes to outline what is on the agenda, if there is one.

Still for those of you who'd like to use the code, it's readable,
appropriate, and free.

x = cancelled
y = made it
z = "slept" (missed it)
