XStandard Lite 1.0
Author: Belus Technology Inc.
Program Type: Freeware

File Description:

XStandard is the first WYSIWYG editor to generate clean XHTML 1.1 markup
with no deprecated tags. It is typically integrated into
browser/Windows-based content management systems where business authors
use it to manage rich content in any language (Chinese, Russian, etc.).

It supports images, layout and data tables, lists, links, floats,
drag-and-drop, file uploads and browsing of files in libraries. Formatting
is through CSS, which authors reference by selecting styles from a
drop-down menu. Web Services (SOAP) are used to reference/upload files.
Custom tags can also be inserted. It completely separates data from
presentation, preparing content for devices and accessibility
applications. A Screen Reader Preview helps authors adjust content for
accessibility.

In XStandard Lite, access to Web Services is limited. Web Services
(file libraries) may only be located on XStandard servers. This means
that any files uploaded through the editor will be stored on a
XStandard server (where files are routinely purged). XStandard Lite
should therefore be integrated into applications that do not plan to
offer Web Services.
